Hi Ken
I love your blog and I have a question. I’ll be at your class in July and I’m working on learning my letters. I have watched the video you did but many of the letters were skipped.
Is there an uncut version where all of the letters are shown?
Thanks
Natalie Jo Becker
Ken
I thought you would be very interested in hearing how Steve Jobs got his start you have a lot in common.
Here is his Stanford speech

See you in July

Hi Ken,
I just wanted you to know that I’m signing up for your classes on July 12th & 13th.
I have spoken with Russ at Profitable Hobbies and ordered the equipment I needed for your class.
Looking forward to meeting you and learning calligraphy from one of the great Masters!
See you in a few weeks.

Ken:
I was looking at the burs that you offer, and am curious what you use the #39 carbide, large inverted cone for (lettering, art work, etc.)? I am very familiar with the other burs, but not this one. Can you queue me in?! Thanks.
ken i have to ask…have you ever considered having a webclass…with web cam and mike so we could ask question….i know it would be a ppv but it would help the ones…like me…who find it hard to travel. thanks for atleast reading about it….marsha hastings
Hi Marsha……….
Great question. I don’t know the details but will look into it. Stay tuned to my blog.
THANK YOU!
Ken
Ken I need about 12 pewter tankards engraved for my son’s wedding along with 2 pocket watches. Each will have either their name on one line and the date on the next. Can you tell me how much you would charge for this or estimate. Also can you get family crests and engrave or do I need to have that done first? I am thinking of ordering them from a company in England, do you have someone I could order this many from and get a discount? Thank you!
Ken,
My cousin Judy suggested that I search your web page, so here I am. My class has just celebrated our 50th Class Reunion. We transferred our power point to a DVD and I will be the one to write on the disc, so do you have any suggestions? Right now, I purchased some Sharpie ultra fine pens, but I really wanted calligraphy or squared off points. After looking at this site, I fell in love with your examples of points without a chisled end. I need to write the theme & other info on more than 100 DVDs. Wish you were here.
Your site is awesome!!! Wish I could get away to be in your classes.
Thanks so much for your inspiration, Diana Maillet Gauthier
Hi Diana…….Good luck! DVD material is difficult to write on with anything other than a permanent Sharpie or equivalent. Calligraphy just about out of the question. Have a reproduction studio print the discs from a master artwork done in Calligraphy.

Hi Ken..You probably won’t remember me, it’s been a few years. I was a calligraphy instructor in Memphis and ordered a batch of books from you. You personalized one for me! I learned calligraphy from your old tan book in 1981! I retired from nursing a few months ago and started my calligraphy back again. I will be teaching again soon at the 2 local hobby stores, (Hobby Lobby & Michaels)and need some instruction books. I have a half dozen or so left from years gone by, but I am going to need more.(remember the ones that had a page missing?!) HL has agreed to let me “give” the students their book as long as they buy pens etc from the store. Can you give me a price for about a dozen? Thanks!! BTW my website is under construction, I’ll give you a heads up when it’s done so you can see my work. When my husband is scanning my originals, he laughs, and says, “You write just like Ken Brown!” Duh! VRC is my favorite alphabet! Respectfully, Robbie J Crawford
Hi Robbie………
Yes we do…even after your enrollment! Thanks for signing up. Looking forward to meeting you.
