FLASHBACK! On December 7, 2003, I was sent to Toronto to a Neiman Marcus kind of store. HOLT RENFREW wanted me there, so Estee’ Lauder in New York sent me a ticket. I was to engrave their fragrance bottles and compacts for this high-end retailer. The two-day event produced throngs of customers buying personalized Lauder items for Christmas gifts.
The fun surprise when I arrived in the store was that every woman in the cosmetics department was wearing a KEN BROWN t-shirt. Great in-store promotion! Still lamenting that I didn’t think to ask for one to bring home.
The fragrance season is not far away and I get calls frequently from major department stores and promotional firms all over the U.S., looking to me for students I’ve trained. If you’re anywhere near a large metropolitan area, and have an interest in an amazingly productive skill, we still have seats in the September, October, and November classes. Hundred bucks an hour is the bottom figure my students start for in their own events.
If you’re a student who’s interested in being referred, give me an update on your status.
If you’re a student who needs to sharpen your skills and get on the fast track, come back for a refresher. Those that do that see rapid improvement and they gain confidence in getting their skill productive.
