KEN BROWN ENGRAVING MAY COME TO A COMPUTER OR EBOOK NEAR YOU.

Screen Shot 2013-11-09 at 5.50.41 AMThis is not Tarzan, but a letter from Jane

Back in the July Seminar, Jane traveled here from Georgia….a suburb of Atlanta.  She could easily afford the trip and the other expenses.  She was one of about 300 who have made the trek, drive, flight, from home to the hotel over the past 12.5 years.  Just this morning I got the letter from her, shown below.  Her enthusiasm.  Her words.  Her experience.  Actually, it’s quite common for me to hear this from students after returning home.  That’s just it.  I HEAR it often, but she wrote it.  There was another one recently in the same tone.  I’ll feature it in a day or two.

Now, the reason for sharing this is twofold.  First, to validate the positive outcome from those who come here.  Second, to let you know, that I know many in the sound of my blog can’t come to Texas.  The list of reasons why would choke your pc.  You may be one of them.

Anyone can learn this.  You’ve heard me say it a thousand times.  It’s not about talent.  It’s about guts.  Commitment.  Taking a wish or a dream and acting on it.  When your dream or wish to come here and learn is literally beyond reach, maybe we can send it to you.

You know, of course, that hearing the concert on your Bose is cool but there is nothing like being near the orchestra where you’re in the same room with the strings, horns, and drums.  Below is Jane’s unsolicited letter about her 5th Certification project.  THIS part of Jane’s training she IS doing at home, after attending the three day class.

Hi Ken,

I have been slammed at work as our company is going through a merger…..CRAZY BUSY and VERY LONG HOURS!!   On top of that, I am excited to tell you that I now have some sample bottles and business cards on display in four local stores in my area, in addition to two different beverage stores.   I hope to be really busy over the holidays engraving bottles and making people smile with their unique gifts…not to mention making a little extra money.  🙂
I also did some empty bottles for a local high-end clothing boutique with their store name and Christmas/Holiday messages that they used for candle holders on the tables for their Christmas open house.  The catered event was held under a large white tent outdoors in their parking lot – very elegant with chandeliers, white sofas brought in for seating, live music, etc.    The bottles looked so nice on their tables and I receive numerous comments.  Such a good feeling….   The owner is going to display my work in her store over the holidays for her clientele. (perfect for the customers I’m hoping to draw in).  So, as you can see, I’ve been very busy on my day job (which I probably won’t have for much longer) as well as spending some late nights engraving.   Oh, and I am having a website built.  Should be up and running within the week.

I will get to work on my next project within the next few days and get it to you.

And again, that you for the critiques!!!   Much appreciated!!

All the best,
Jane

If you’re one who’d love to learn this and cannot attend the actual Seminar, I want to hear from you.  I’m seriously thinking of formatting my Seminar into the best possible substitution for your being here.  You won’t be in the ‘concert hall’ but I’m certain I can provide a sound teaching experience that will be effective and productive for you.  Probably a considerable part of the program will be available ONLY on the iPad.  The program I’ll use offers amazing interactivity with imbedded videos and features unavailable any other way.  Be checking out iPad prices.  iPad One and Two are not compatible.  iPad Three is the oldest you could use and they’re available at good prices if you shop around.  Of course, newer is better with more features that may be needed.

This will NOT replace the Texas teaching but will be in addition to it.

Without some input from you, I won’t pursue it.  I can tell you this right now.  It won’t like buying a cheapie ebook.  It won’t be the price of a coffee table book.  It will be a value, and expensive, but far less than the cost of coming here plus the Seminar fee as published.  With that in mind, please give me your thoughts in the comments box below so others can feel the breeze of conversation as we explore the possibilities of you learning in your own treehouse or man/woman cave.

Before you answer, consider this.  Whether you come to Texas or not, you must have the equipment for the lessons and for the work you’ll be doing for the extra $$$ you’ll earn.   A reminder:  I do NOT sell equipment and I can only support the equipment package I use.  So if you already have a system, great.  I can’t help you with equipment issues or questions.  If you don’t have anything, I encourage you to purchase what I’ve used for many years.  I know it inside and out.  That package comes from Russ & Marcy Larsen at TAKING AIM MARKETING in Utah.

Six questions.  For now, please be concise and answer these six questions, numbering your answers to match:

1.  Is this of considerable interest to you?
2.  Do you already have equipment?
3.  What would you expect to pay for a comprehensive program that would be
as close as possible to an in-class experience?
4.  Do you own an iPad?
5.  Where do you live?
6.  Any suggestions or comments you might offer?

Again, please answer in the comment block below.  If you want to send me a private note for some reason, please send to ken@kenbrown.com    Some of you previous students may have an interest in this as a ‘refresher.’

Oh yes…if you’d like to give the January 16, 17, 18 Seminar to someone, or yourself….in Texas….as a Christmas gift, I’ll share the hotel’s incentive to me and offer a 25% discount off the published fee.  Offer ends this coming Wednesday, November 13, at 5:00 p.m., so you must call and enroll before then.  Already have two booked so 6 seats remain.

    Hi Ken,

I wanted to thank you for considering this type of course.

    1. I have a great interest and really can’t wait to get more details and get started.
    2. I have the drill and compressor, will need to add bits and the rest of equipment.
    3. I think people will pay in the 400 to 600 dollar range.
    4. I do own an I Pad it is a 2 however so I will have to check on upgrading it.

    6. I think a lot people will want to test drive this and see if they can do it. Plus they could go over the training several times if they want and work at their own speed. Happy clients will then take the advance training and spread the word. Thanks Von
