More and more, promotional companies who handle engraving events are turning to me for engraving work. Sometime last summer was the most recent time I had an open date so I could fulfill a requrest. It was at Nordstrom, engraving watches.
Just received a request today for an engraver in Chicago from 10-6 next Saturday, May 7, to engrave Jewelry….obviously for a Mother’s Day event. If anyone in that area is qualified and has the date open, contact me pronto.
A lot of you who have gotten your Ken Brown Certification tend to lose touch with me. Not sure if it’s a lack of confidence in doing events, you are no longer interested in the engraving, or you’re so protective of the area where you live/work, you fear competition or intrusion.
There is SO much work out there that if there were a dozen more engravers in your area, there would still be more work than you could all do.
