It was a fast job. A #4 round carbide on a penciled baseline. Baseline was about 1.5 seconds and the other 18.5 seconds was engraving the letters. I kept the drill VERTICAL so not to undercut the letters. It both burned and cut the wood. Twenty bucks in twenty seconds is a rate of $60. a minute is a rate of $3600. an hour. Of course I didn’t have a flock of lambs or an hour’s worth, but it was lunch in a blink.
