This took exactly 8 minutes total. I used a dental drill, directly on the bottle. No pen, no ink. The fee was $47. Five words (date is two words) @ $6. per word. Rubbing in the color was $12. That means I could do 7 similar bottles in 56 minutes. That would be $329. in less than an hour.
Unless you’re earning at somewhere near that hourly rate for your penwork, this is a natural step up to shine with your beautiful script on something that doesn’t end up in a drawer, scrapbook, or a box. Wine consumption and wine gift-giving are daily activities. There are zillions of other things you’ll also be able to engrave with your gorgeous lettering.
Give your pens a rest. You’ll eventually store them away and forget about them. You won’t be able to afford the time for them. And that’s the truth.
